BUGA garden exhibition 2003

The biggest Germany’s garden show Bundesgartenschau in 2003 took place in Rostock. The exhibition had indoor expositions in several halls, huge outdoor plantations with annual and perennial flowers, plants in pots, several pools with fountains, interesting children’s playgrounds, made of wood and wickers and a beautiful church, twined from growing willow twigs, combined with white cloth. There were interesting foreign expositions, especially from Netherlands, which surprised the visitors with a huge transparent metal hall, all overgrown with climbers. One of the most surprising elements was the floating garden with volcanic rocks, a red metal flower with yellow tubes and a beautiful wooden pergola in a form of a dragonfly.
